(she/her)
Hey there!
Here's a little about me and how this got started.
Sensitivity and empathy have always been core parts of who I am. Growing up, I loved making art and didn’t yet realize I was using it to process what I was going through and make sense of the world around me. I truly believed I could create anything and I still carry that with me today.
I began my educational journey with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Art & Design, which led me to graduate school for Art Therapy at the School of Visual Arts. Over the past nine years, I've worked in schools, family therapy settings, adult psychiatric care, and outpatient mental health services for children, teens, and adults. I specialize in working with women with a focus on maternal mental health. I also support young adults, tweens and teens, creatives, and helping professionals.
My approach to therapy is integrative, blending psychodynamic, humanistic, and behavioral perspectives with practices from ACT, CBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused work. My style is relational and exploratory. While we'll work together to achieve goals and develop coping skills, I believe it's equally important for you to feel validated in your experiences, gain new insights, and deepen your understanding of yourself. I am HAES (Health at Every Size) aligned and LGBTQIA+ affirming. I offer both art and traditional talk therapy.

My favorite thing about being a therapist is to see clients build trust and confidence in who they are, while discovering and creating their next steps to who they want to be.
